Royal Caribbean Ship

Recently, I had the opportunity to take a Royal Caribbean Cruise with my family for vacation! We went on the Liberty of the Seas ship, which was in the Freedom class. It was an amazing time, so I thought I would share with ya'll all about the ship, where we went, and what we ate. A cruise is a great way to spend a stress free vacation and get away from our technology filled lives! I am going to break up my posts into three categories: About the Ship, About the Ports, and About the Food! In this post, I will talk all about the ship! About the Ship: There are so many amazing features on a Royal Caribbean Ship! I didn't get to take pictures of everything, but I will try to remember as much as I can! To start off, the whole check-in process was so smooth! They got us on the ship quickly and efficiently. Once we got on we started exploring all that the ship had to offer. We went to our room, which was surprisingly spacious than past rooms. We had a king bed, and a balcony. My family of four got two rooms, and it had a connecting door so we could go back and forth. This allowed us to have much more room!

Inside our room, we had a big closet where we were able to hang up all of our clothes, and there was even a shoe rack!

This was our first time exploring the Promenade. This is the place where all the action happened! They had everything from shops, to restaurants, to theaters.

They had the cutest little cupcake shop filled with gourmet cupcakes. They also offered a cupcake decorating class!

Some of the shops on the Promenade, were a perfume and cosmetic store, which held makeup classes daily. There were souvenir shops that had all of your Royal Caribbean merchandise. There were also designer stores that carried fine jewelry, and Guess handbags.

One of my favorite spots, was to hang out by the pool! Of course they had several pools, some were adults only, and some were for kids. I didn't get a picture of it, but there were several hot tubs that had windows that stretched over the edge of the ship! Unfortunately, I never got the chance to try the Flow Rider or the water slides but they looked like so much fun!

Some more activities onboard the ship were mini golf, ice skating, rock climbing, a basketball court, and a huge fitness room! I loved ice skating while at sea, and they did professional shows during the trip too!

We also saw several shows in the Platinum Theatre. They were amazing!! One was a Broadway based show called "Saturday Night Fever." There was another show that featured amazing acrobatics, tricks, and extreme talent!

Here is a picture of the dining room! There are three floors, and you get assigned to a dining room and a specific table, and you sit in the same place every night. For breakfast you can either eat in the dining room, which is open seating, or eat at the buffet or coffee shop. For lunch, you can do the same. Dinner is a special occasion, and there is a required dress code for the evenings. We went on a 7-day cruise, so there were two formal nights. They had several photographers located throughout the ship to take your pictures almost every night! They had a super convenient picture kiosk room where you could electronically see, and choose the pictures you want to purchase.

Overall, my time on board was amazing! I would highly recommend going on a Royal Caribbean cruise ASAP! This post is not sponsored, but eventually I hope to travel and do reviews on the blog for large companies such as Royal Caribbean! I hope you enjoyed this post about all of the on board activities. Be on the look out for the next two posts of this series!
